Message from the President – Connie Myrick, Rose State College
                         
A new year is a great opportunity for change, new beginnings and a reflection upon great accomplishments. Looking back at the newly remodeled Del City Community Center, and the Del City Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center, we can be proud of what has been completed and look forward to what will be done in 2012.

 

Businesses are looking at Del City as never before. With the strong working relationship between the City of Del City and the Del City Chamber of Commerce, we can look forward to continued growth in our wonderful community.

As your 2012 Chamber of Commerce President, my New Year’s resolution is to wish for this continued, positive energy to grow for the City. The new project that we are launching tonight and our focused efforts to increase membership and benefits and business- friendly initiatives will require everyone’s assistance. To help me keep this positive energy flowing, please consider serving on a committee or volunteering at an event such as the golf tournament in June or the auction in September. Together we will make “Del City the City of Choice for Business.”

I am honored to serve as your President in 2012.
